If you’re using Perk, your AI assistant just got a whole lot smarter. Whether you’re using Claude , Chatgpt or any other MCP-compatible AI assistant, you can now book and manage travel, submit expenses and create team events in Perk directly in the chat.
It adds to the capabilities rolled out last month that unlocked reporting and approvals via your AI assistant and means Perk is now the first platform to enable end-to-end travel, expense, and event management via MCP.
Need to travel to a meeting? Just ask your AI assistant and it will pull in-policy flights and hotels straight into the chat for you to review.
Receipts piling up while you’re there? Just put them in the chat, give it the context, and it will automatically add them to your expense report with all the details filled out.
Team members on the move? Just ask what expenses need your approval and give your AI assistant the go-ahead to approve any in-policy receipts. All the shadow work is handled for you.
One conversation across the whole platform
Perk’s MCP brings capabilities from across the Perk platform into one conversation, connecting travel, spend, invoices, and expenses into a seamless workflow.
It means you can arrange travel and submit expenses in the same conversation. Or you can run reports that bring together both travel and non-travel expenses to quickly get an accurate picture of what’s happening in your teams.
For travel, you can search for and modify bookings for flights, hotels, trains and rental cars.
With expenses, you can submit receipts, request trip approvals and check visa requirements.
And for events you can find the venue, book group travel, manage the guestlist, and keep track of updates.
Plus, you’ll soon be able to access Perk’s MCP connector in Slack. The Perk Agent for Slack launches in September and will provide another way to use the MCP without having to set up a separate AI assistant.
