Getting your Perk account set up correctly from the start saves time, prevents invoicing errors, and ensures your team can book within policy from day one. Follow these three steps to get up and running.

Step 1

Fill in your company details

First things first. Go to the Companies page and make sure to fill in your company details correctly. Create companies for all legal entities and specify the address and VAT number for each. This is an important step to ensure you invoice your trip correctly, reclaim VAT, and get services that are available in specific locations, such as FlexiTravel .Missing or incorrect company details are one of the most common causes of invoicing errors and VAT reclaim failures — take five minutes here to avoid problems later.Set your default language and regional preferences so that all new users are created with the proper settings. They will still be able to personalize their preferences in their personal user profile.

Step 2

Add your company payment method

Set your payment method to define how and when you pay, in which currency, and when and who we will invoice. You can choose among different payment options .Not sure which payment option is right for your team? Here's a quick guide:
  • Monthly invoicing — best for teams with high booking volume who want consolidated billing
  • Pay per trip — best for smaller teams or those just getting started
  • Credit card — best for teams who need flexibility across multiple bookers
Connect your expense management tool with Perk using our expense integrations . All invoice details will flow automatically between tools, giving you full visibility on your total travel spend at all times.Setting up your expense integration at this stage — before your team starts booking — means every trip is captured automatically from the start, with no manual reconciliation required.

Step 3

Get your team onboard

Add your team and see what having all in one place means:
  • You can book for them faster, having all necessary details saved in their profiles
  • You can enable them to book autonomously and staying in budget, setting policies and approvals
Make sure the user name matches the official name on related travel documents to prevent costly mistakes. A name mismatch between a Perk profile and a passport or ID is one of the most common causes of boarding issues — double-check before your team's first trip.

Add your team from the People's page

This way you'll be able to define their settings. Just go to the People page and click on 'Invite People', then define details. You can assign different roles and permissions to your team members.Best for: small teams where you want to set individual permissions from the start.

Invite your team by email

This way you'll be able to invite multiple people at once. You can do so from the People page , clicking on 'Invite People'.Add a message to your invite for a more personalized experience!Best for: mid-sized teams where speed of onboarding matters more than individual configuration.

Invite your travelers when booking

When searching for a service, start typing the name of your new traveler. Then press 'Register new traveler'.Best for: adding occasional travelers on the fly without a formal onboarding process.
