The Role

Product Design Managers at Perk directly support Product Designers in delivering their best work while also contributing to high-impact strategic design projects.

As a Product Design Manager, you’ll be leading the design and delivery of feature enhancements that support the growth and evolution of our platform.You’ll team up with Product and Engineering Tribe leads to always keep scope and priorities clear and to advocate for design and the customer within your Tribe and area of ownership.

You’ll help shape the product strategy for a specific Tribe (a group of squads) and fine-tune its design approach, while also guiding product design teams to execute end-to-end user experiences and play a meaningful role in multidisciplinary teams as the design expert.

This role reports to Senior Design Management and is part of the Design Leadership team, shaping how we scale and improve as we grow.

What You Will Do

  • Line manage a team of Product Designers, supporting their personal and professional development.
  • Oversee complex design initiatives spanning multiple workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Own the design direction of a Tribe, aligning Product Design contributions to strategic goals and translating them into actionable design strategies.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to elevate the voice of Design and advocate for the user across Perk.
  • Effectively communicate design ideas and strategies to stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
  • Work with the wider Product Design team to ensure consistent, coherent journeys and design patterns across our tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design operations by shaping processes, frameworks, and rituals that elevate our team to world-class standards.
  • Influence and support team growth through hiring, networking, and sourcing future team members.

What Are We Looking For?

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product DesignerExperience in
  • B2B SaaS
  • 2+ years of experience leading design teams, mentoring designers, and supporting their career growth.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to constructively guide and inspire your team. You know how to push for quality and excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). You’re comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders and clearly articulating design decisions.
  • A talent for simplifying complexity and creating clarity for others.
  • Ability to influence product roadmaps in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional product teams.
  • Background in high-growth product companies with an international footprint.

How We Work

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our London or Barcelona hub. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in-real-life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.
