As a Senior Implementation Specialist – Travel & Spend, you’ll be the go-to person for our SMB customers, ensuring their Travel and Spend accounts are set up efficiently, adopted quickly, and delivering value from day one.
You’ll guide customers through Travel and Spend policies, configure workflows and approvals, and make sure they are fully equipped to start booking travel and managing expenses right after go-live. You’ll coordinate internal teams and customer stakeholders — finance, HR, IT, travel managers, and sometimes, external consultants — keeping everyone aligned and focused on the shared goal: a smooth, successful onboarding experience.
With your strong product knowledge and technical acumen, you’ll manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a world-class onboarding journey that sets customers up for long-term success.
Lead mid-complexity onboarding projects for SMB Travel & Spend customers primordially in DACH region, keeping delivery structured, efficient, and customer-focused.
Drive adoption and activation by applying change management and financial know-how to help customers get value quickly.
Configure Travel & Spend setups, including policies, standard workflows, approval flows, and Per Diems.
Coordinate stakeholders across finance, HR, IT, and travel management to ensure everyone is aligned and objectives are clear.
Support ERP integrations, such as Spend Export File, DateV, and Xero, troubleshooting as needed to guarantee smooth operations. Don’t worry you do not need to have engineering background to do it, but you need to have curiosity about the tech world!
Manage identity and HR integrations through SSO, HRIS, and SCIM, ensuring seamless technical setup.
Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience, ensuring early booking and expense activity and leaving customers confident in their new system.
German working proficiency is a must — you’ll communicate with German-speaking customers and stakeholders every day.
2–3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, with at least 1 year in project management, ideally within implementation projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills — your day-to-day is making sure objectives are clear and coordinating internal and customer stakeholders toward the shared goal: a successful onboarding.
Solution-oriented mindset and motivation to tackle challenges proactively, with adaptability to change.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball.
Strong Plus, if you have:
Experience in consulting, finance or tech is a strong plus.
Direct experience in customer onboarding or technical implementation is an additional advantage.
Experience in Spend solution implementation

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs.
