To ensure the continued growth and scalability of our business, particularly in the European region, we are addressing current gaps in our IT support structure. We are hiring a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in Barcelona to provide essential support and advance our operational excellence.
Technical and Automation Proficiency
Scripting and Automation: Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain foundational scripts.
Workflow Automation: Possesses experience in implementing automation solutions across various platforms, including but not limited to Okta, Slack, and Make.com.
API Integration: Exhibits familiarity with the integration and utilization of REST APIs to automate and enhance tooling capabilities.
Monitoring and Alerting Tools: Capable of configuring, optimizing, and maintaining monitoring systems (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
Understanding of Core Tools: Possesses a solid comprehension of infrastructure-related tools, including identity management systems, with an ideal understanding of Jamf environments (Having Jamf 200 above is a plus)
Basic DevOps Tool Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
Analytical and Operational Capabilities
Problem Anticipation: Ability to identify and mitigate potential issues proactively.
Process Optimization: Actively seeks opportunities to enhance the efficiency, availability, and reliability of existing processes and platforms.
Initiative and Collaboration
Tool Evaluation: Can assess new tools and provide recommendations aligned with team requirements.
Reusability and Standards: Develops reusable components and adheres to established standard practices for automation and tooling.
Team Collaboration: Collaborates effectively across functions and contributes feedback and enhancements to shared tooling.
Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk team, providing guidance and mentoring on complex issues and escalations to support their skill development and ensure timely resolution

How We Work
At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs.
